Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild or HKPAG (Chinese: 香港演藝人協會) is the main non-profit labour association for Hong Kong artistes, canto-pop singers and stage performers. It was formed on December 12, 1993. Its current Chairman is a singer named Eric Tsang. The "HKPAG" is a member of the International Society for the Performing Arts. It was founded by a group of leading Hong Kong performers including Jackie Chan, Anita Mui, Chow Yun-fat and Maggie Cheung. The four main objectives of HKPAG include: strengthening, bonding, and communication amongst fellow performing artistes, improving professional standards and qualities, promoting and protecting performing artists' rights and contributing to charity activities. == How is the HKPAG organized? == HKPAG is funded by people with a strong passion for media projects and donators. It is run by the (Executive Committee ) of 21 representatives elected by members bi-annually.
